Monomoy Point Light

Monomoy Point Light was built in 1849, stands 40 feet and is constructed with a cast-iron tower lined in brick. It replaced the first lighthouse built in 1823 to aid vessels traveling around the treacherous point at Pollock Rip. The 200-year-old lighthouse and keeper's quarters have undergone a series of renovations with the goal of making it available to the public. This video tells the tale of the majestic Monomoy Point Light.
